Remedios Varo fue una
pintora española surrealista que murió en México y Pita Amor fue una poetisa mexicana
y musa de pintores como Diego Rivera. Me gustan los dos personajes y así se
llaman mis perras. A la Remedios le encanta comer los aguacates que caen del
árbol del vecino. La Pita da giros que nadie le enseñó cuando quiere algo y
odia los mosquitos y se los come.
Remedios Varo was a Spanish surrealist painter who died in México. Regarding Pita Amor, she was a Mexican poetess and muse of painters such as Diego Rivera. I like both characters so I named my two dogs after them. Remedios, my dog, loves to eat avocados which fall from the neighbor's tree. At the same time, my dog Pita, gives twists and turns that no one taught her when she wants something, Pita also hates mosquitoes and eats them.

Remedios sale disparada por las mañanas a comer los nanches caídos del árbol.
Pita babea por las manzanas. Remedios solo come galletas María remojadas en te
chai o café. Pita devora el doble de galletas como sean y se las roba a
Remedios.
They both are half vegetarian, Remedios always runs to the garden in the mornings to eat the nanches (a small Mexican fruit) that fall from the neighbor's tree. Pita drools for apples. Remedios only eats cookies soaked in chai tea or coffee. Pita devours twice of the cookies no matter if they are soaked or not and steals the cookies from Remedios.
Remedios se avienta a la
alberca cuando se meten todos mis sobrinos. Pita te ve y te hace ojitos hasta
lagrimear cuando quiere algo. Las dos aman las mandarinas y yo las amo a ellas.
When all my nephews get into the pool, Remedios always throws herself into the pool too. When she wants something, Pita looks at you over and over again with very cute eyes until she starts weeping. They both love mandarins and I love them both.
